FINE ART

“If I could say it in words there would be no reason to paint.” – Edward Hopper

I feel most connected to my artwork while sketching and painting. It is invigorating to dive into the blank slate before me. There are no limits. Creating fine art is one of my favorite forms of self-expression.

Self-portrait using foreshortening.

I led this Spider-Man Spider-Verse crowdsourcing project. I creative-directed this graphic and implemented a timeline for fourteen other creators I met online. My personal Spider-Man contribution was hand-drawn on my tablet. (See below)

Portrait of my Mother. She is warm, resilient and optimistic. Below the surface, she struggles with traumatic memories of the Cambodian Genocide. It is impossible to understand, but I wanted to try my best to depict.

Cambodians remain oppressed in a free country.

Can you find the hidden bat symbol?

Scaring more than crows.

A jock using ink and watercolor.

Playing with extreme contrast.

Art should be fun so, Why So Serious?

Not so “social” media.
